One of the easiest and most direct ways to obtain Spanish residency is through the programa GOLDEN VISA. Foreigners intending to enter Spanish territory with the purpose of making a significant capital investment can apply for this residence authorization.

• In real estate (minimum €500,000)
• In shares of a Spanish company or a bank account (value of €1 million)
• In public debt (minimum €2 million)
• Entrepreneurs who start their project in Spain and whose project is considered of general interest to the country.

The general interest report will be requested from the Directorate-General for Trade and Investments.

The initial duration of this residency is two years, with subsequent renewal periods of five years, and it includes a work permit from the beginning. It also does not require a minimum period of stay in Spain.
